Where's Wall eh?.....

All go today.
The silage team arrived with the first load from down the road before 8am. By 8 pm tonight they had chopped about 130 acres. 9 tractors and trailers carting in,one putting 3 rows of grass into 1 in front of the chopper, and managed to dodge the downpours until the last 20 acres.
One slight mishap when a trailer caught the concrete panel wall and pulled one over. Luckily no one was hurt as they weigh about a ton each. Once they finished tonight they managed to lift it back into place with the telehandler and I had some new brackets to hold it in place.
I mostly kept out the way today and went off to bale silage next door. Wee brother wrapped them ,but we had to stop after another torrential downpour about 4 o' clock.
Went off to spread some slurry on one of the fields they lifted today instead.
Not looking forward to tomorrow's job, the pit will need sheeted and a lot of tyres chucked on to hold it in place.
The joys .....
