Thoughtful walk

Helen and I visiting my Dad this morning after getting Mum breakfast and settling her down.When we arrived Dad was being assessed by the Spinal Team and we were asked to wait.The consultant came to tell us what they had done.They had used Radio Therapy to relieve  pressure on the spinal cord and would continue with the steroids to improve this further.Physio would then start to build his strength up in his legs.
Talking to him this morning he looked a lot better and he had good movement in his legs.

I visited alone this evening and it was nice to sit and talk for an hour or so.He looked tired and was very teary at times though tried to hide it.He told me to travel and go and see places and wished he had done that more.
I was chocked up on the walk back to the car park.
