Mum and Dad

My sister home this evening so we went in together to visit my Dad in hospital.
So far I had been happy with the care he had been getting but not today.He was suppose to have a shower this morning the first since being admitted on Monday but that didn't happen.His hands were dirty and he had been asking all day if he could wash them.When I asked I was given some wet wipes.
I asked to see a nurse to find out what was planned for his care.Not a nurse in site but filling his water jug I found them all sat around in a side room drinking coffee.They where still there when we left well over an hour later.The list of care that we where told would be taking place seems to have been forgotten.

The system they have paid into all their lives looks to be failing them at their hour of need and no one seems to give a shit.

Frustrated and angry.
