This is "Y" .....

...... there is no abstract from me this Thursday!

Couldn't believe it when I saw this Silver Y moth in the garden :-)

Spotted something moving round the Buddleia as I looked out of the kitchen window ...... grabbed the camera  & went out for a look.

After a bit of a hunt I found it & took several photos .... this was the best & shows the characteristic "y" on it's forewing which gives it its name ... hope you like it :-)

Also had Small Tortoiseshell, Red Admiral, Large & Small White butterflies enjoying the sunshine in the garden this morning & the Hummingbird Hawk-moth was back again!

It has clouded over now & maybe we'll have more rain :-(


Supermarket shopping shortly ..... yes on a Thursday!  We will be able to take the store by surprise .... no way will it be expecting us today!
