Blooming 'eck

Holidays are relaxing, right?  Well yes, of course they are.  But the way we've felt today, you wouldn't think it.  The combination of a full day's travelling home followed by a full day's washing all the holiday clothes has caught up on us and we've both felt shattered today; we both fell asleep this afternoon while reading.  We had the opportunity to go to the launch of an exhibition this evening by a well known local artist, with champagne and canapés, but even that couldn't tempt us out.  As it's turned out, the weather is pretty bad with some wind and fairly heavy rain, but it would have been nice to go.

When we got back from holiday I noticed that one of the alpines in the trough outside the back door had produced these flowers which I rather like.  Not a great shot of them though; taken on my phone in heavy rain!
