Burnley Town Hall

Burnley Town Hall has been covered in scaffolding for two or three years undergoing some quite extensive repair work, but late last year it was all removed and here it is in all its glory.

It's the main HQ of Burnley Council and dates all the way back to 1888 - I think it's quite a magnificent building.

It has beautiful stained glass, period meeting rooms, large council chambers and still has the old cells and gated staircases from when it operated as holding cells and a court.
I particularly like the clock which I have put in 'extras'.
