Birch Trees
I was awake at 5am and rather than lie there trying to go back to sleep I got up and went down for a coffee.
I looked at all your Blips then watched the news - grim as usual.
I took Frank a coffee at 7 and then took Bella walkies - it’s usually Frank who takes her in the morning so it was nice to be out early
Once home I decided it was time to tackle a few sewing jobs on my machine in the attic. I’ve been putting these wee jobs off for a while but now they’re done. :-)
Next I vacuumed the upstairs.
Then Sue phoned and we had a long chat, mostly about our grown up kids and about art. Sue is an artist.
Then at last it was time for Lino Print!
The birch trees were copied from a photo I took a few months ago as we were driving out of the ice rink in Stirling. I drew out the trees then traced them onto the Lino and carved round them.
I’m quite pleased with the result, just one or two things I’ll adjust next time.
This evening we caught up with The Great British Sewing Bee. Next week is the final.
Obviously Asmaa will win - she is amazing!
Goodnight ;-)X
