Lenticular clouds …
….. ….. ….. over the Whakatipu Basin - a little east of the Remarkables. A sharp cold SWer blowing, so a friend and I kept away from it. And yet it was mild, even Spring-like, back at the Village.
Yesterday’s road side tidy-up looks immaculate and cared for. What a super event to have been part of; makes me smile thinking about it.
It’s Matariki today; the Māori New Year. It’s the 2nd year since it became an official holiday in NZ. Another friend & I went into Arrowtown to see the celebrations, and in particular to see my great granddaughter performing in her school’s kapa haka - two photos in Extras. She was amazing!
