Those were the day's my friend....................

The weather is as expected, wet & windy, so a day for hungering down. We have a Dualit toaster, which we use every day, and one of the elements has gone (J replaced one many years ago)  All the parts are inter changeable, apparently, but  we can't decide whether  to buy a new toaster, or,   to buy the element. J thinks we should replace the toaster,  I'm not sure. The jury is out .Our daughter & son-in-law are travelling back from Looe today, and they are bringing us some Cornish pasties. I can't wait:-) I found this photo while looking  through the sideboard this morning. My eldest brother took the photo, outside my parents bungalow. probably late 1970's.
