Quadtastic!

Oh what an absolutely brilliant day we had. Ian said he would take us out on quad bikes. He told us the best place to hire and got them to do a deal for us. They were new bikes and huge! We decided to pay a bit more and get the big ones as we wanted to go up and over the mountain. It was the hottest day so far this year and with the heat from the bike we were boiling….but we didn’t care.

Firstly, we drove onto the little ferry to go across the river then we headed to Candir and stopped at a cafe for drinks and pancakes. The heat was raging as we went up and over the mountain and we couldn’t wait to get in the sea when we pulled up at Ekincik. When we had calmed our overheated bodies we had lunch.

After the rough track on the mountain we hit the road and zoomed to the mud baths where we had a cold drink before getting on the ferry back over the river. It was a brilliant day. Ian and Jeanie were lovely and their son Lee and his girlfriend Jenny were too. It was fab to spend the day with them. I loved our adventure.
