Sumac

Today was another bad day. I felt sad all day. Then my supervisor logged on and told me I had not been doing a good job at work. She was out for a few months after knee surgery, and I was sort of on my own with a new project. I'd never done this type of work before, and no one was guiding me as to exactly how to do it, so I made mistakes.

It's not my fault, and she assured me of that, but I am still really upset. I almost cried. ugh. Crying at work at 40. Ridiculous.

After work, Jill and I went to one of our favorite cafes and sat outside. The weather was nice after a quick thunderstorm passed through. I took a picture of these nearby plants after we finished our meal.
