We brought this Hydrangea back from Holland over 30 years ago and it's still going strong.  Some years are better than  others, this is a good year with lots of flowers, although they seem much darker this year.    It's in  my little courtyard area that's fortunately sheltered.
My goodness it's so windy today 45+mph and no signs if easing down.   My nerves are frayed with the strong gusts as I have so many mature trees in the garden in full leaf.   I can't remember having high winds like this in the summer, just wish they'd ease a bit.   We managed just 13mm of rain yesterday, I'm surprised it wasn't more.
