Rusty

Rusty patched bumble bees have been placed on the list of endangered species. I can't say for sure that this is one, busy doing its stuff on a button bush, but I'd like to think so.

There are 20 varieties of bumble bee in this area alone, making identification difficult for a non expert. Even though this is quite a decent shot, I think, I couldn't decide which of the 20 it definitely is.

Extra: Formation. By chance I had the correct settings dialled in to capture a pair of blue winged teals flying out across the lake.
