The Sad Tale Of The Runner Beans

Continuous  heavy rain and very strong winds all day yesterday.  At one point T looked out of the window and said that the runner beans will be falling over if this weather continues.
It did and they did.

A sorry heap on the ground.  He managed to stake some of them up this morning and will have another go when they are a bit drier.  He was able to cut some beans, which we had on our dinner today.

I ventured out when the wind dropped this morning to take this shot and two others I have put as extras,  A very wet sweet pea and  a flower on the climbing Honeysuckle.
