Braving the rain

Well, it has not been raining as much as yesterday, but it is still wet. More birds now and a lot of young ones. This very young Goldfinch appeared this afternoon. It has beautiful wing feathers already. No wonder adult Goldfinches have been using our Niger Seed feeder over the last few weeks - instant energy for bringing up young.
