Growing

I know this will be a commonplace sight for many people, but we are excited by it. We have never tried to grow tomatoes before, thinking you need a greenhouse. Now Gordon has tried these little ones and they seem to be growing well. Whether we will get enough sun for them to ripen is the question, but they are in a sheltered spot in full sun, so hopefully . . . 

We have also had a huge crop of blackcurrants. Some have been frozen and with the rest I have made compote, now ready to go in the freezer too.
