Sunflower bouquet from Mette

Finally - a day that I was able to spend mostly outdoors in the garden without getting wet! I mainly pruned and weeded while listening to episodes of The rest is history. Mr hazelh gave the bay tree a haircut.

I came in for a couple of hours to eat lunch then bake some scones for a wee tea party with Mette. It's a long time since we have had a chance to sit down and have a proper chat. Most recently we have simply waved at one another when we pass on the cycle paths while running. It was a wonderful catch-up. 

Mette brought us a beautiful bouquet from Fioritalia. I have split it into two. The large flowers are in the hall (blipped), and the smaller ones combined with lilies from our garden and placed in the guest bathroom.
