Birthday Outing

Today was Rosie's 21st birthday and we went to Heir Island for the day, nine of us carried all we would need for the day, food including a birthday cake and a bucket BBQ, fuel, layers of clothing, cameras and so on. I kayaked across, first kayak of the year! Everyone else made the short ferry crossing. It was a perfect day exploring the islands beautiful beaches, walking to the heather covered headlands, eating good food and enjoying each others company, the sun finally broke through at the end of the afternoon and the light across Roaring Water Bay and all it's many Island was breathtaking.
My blip is at low tide looking north toward the abandoned island of East Skeem.
