Our weekend

We actually slept well in our tent in Andy and Polly's garden, despite the wind trying it's best to unpeg us. Cathy and Sarah were in a tent next to us and thankfully were also still there this morning. The morning was warm sunshine, and we got our tents packed up as they were nice a dry, and everything into the car. Then spent the morning chatting a bit more with those who had braved the canvas. Polly and Andy joined us and Cathy made bacon croissants for breakfast so felt thoroughly spoilt.

Eventually we departed, heading home through all weather's to arrive back in Gresham for about 4.30pm. Then promptly flaked out on the sofa.

This evening have enjoyed, cringed and squirmed about a bit as we watched the 1981 Foxton Road HQ Gang Show, kindly transferred from video to DVD by Lynn. Although grainy and quite noisy, there are some hilarious unforgettable moments with all of us taking part. Jon seemed to have several key roles in sketches as one if the venture scouts. Its one to get out at Christmas with the Gibbs family!

Heading to bed now....in need of another weekend to recover!....is it Friday yet?
