A first.

Quite a broken sleep from more bed accidents . So today has been busy with stripping beds and doing 4 loads of laundry.

I taught the big wildlings how to tie shoe laces . This is a massive deal and it now means that they can have sneakers that have laces on them and that they can tie them themselves.  A small step for many bit a huge deal at this end.

We decided to go into town for a break in the day so I could post a letter.  I said that I would take them for a ice cream as the chip shop has a new machine.  And would you believe it, it broke down this morning again.  So they all hot a slushy instead and we picked up some ice cream lollies from Iceland.  We had a spare one so gave it away to a child up the town. She was very pleased. .

Carson is very happy in this photo as it was his first time ever sitting on a seat on the bus. I normally take him in the buggy . He loved it.

Tomorrow is a big day for him as he is going for his first appointment towards a autism diagnosis and assessment.  This should be one of 3 or 4. But if I hadn't of fought his case he would be waiting at least another 2 to 3 years. So we will see how things go tomorrow.  Fingers crossed.
