Shut!

This is in Sherdley Park where I often go walking and where I have a few geocaches. The gate leads into the walled garden and it has two gates, both of which are normally open all day as the garden is meant to be accessible to all. Recently, on more than one occasion I have found both gates closed by a number of dog walkers occupying the benches in there. Perhaps they don't mean to keep people out but it is somewhat off-putting. I haven't felt able to "intrude" yet I have the right to enter. Other people were bypassing the garden too.
I only had a little walk today as I went to see mum and then I briefly called at B&Q before heading home with a small detour to the park.
