Summer

Today was hot and sunny - a rarity this summer. Got loads of washing done, including bedding - got to make hay while the sun shines, so to speak.
Did a little weeding and swept up more mess from the avenue's trees. Terry has been re-felting the shed roof - a job I'd never want to do - so much messing about!
While I was having a nap late afternoon, he spotted a squirrel in the garden, burying a monkey nut in our back lawn then patting the turf down! I wish he'd caught it on video.
