Why?
My unasked question to these two tourists was, "why are you carrying an open umbrella when it is neither raining nor sunny and not even the teeniest bit breezy?
You certainly don't need to flaunt it today when there will be too many future occasions when you will have to parade it for reasons of the inevitable precipitation, and even for an hour or two of sunshine should you be so lucky.
Perhaps you haven't been in town long enough to know that.
Today is an occasion for rejoicing and not for presaging any likely rain."
Tourists should never ask His Lordship directions, because as a fairly late resident of this fair city, he is not necessarily acquainted with short cuts. He has been known to send tourists off on safari to an address similar to the one they want but a mile or two in the opposite direction;they may still be wandering about in the outback of the suburbs for all we know.
These two umbrella wielding girls were lucky in that they were only sent the long way round to the castle instead of the short cut via Ramsay Garden. It is such a pity that I was too busy blipping them to intervene.
