Lovely Lavender

Met up with an industry colleague / friend at Castle Farm for a lavender walk in the rain today.

My brightly coloured brolly made an appearance. After all “when it rains look for the rainbow” is one of my favourite sayings. Pretty apt given the current mood of our industry.

Catching up with industry colleagues will keep us all sane while the film industry is quiet during the WGA and SAG strikes this summer. So many projects have been put on hold.

What could be more perfect to inspire and calm us than a gentle stroll through the beautiful and fragrant Polgate Lavender field.

Castle Farm just so happens to be a popular film location and is the largest Lavender farm in the UK growing over 130 acres of the fragrant purple flower!
