Too Windy

Too windy to risk driving down single track country lanes to the swimming pool I thought. Yet I found myself doing exactly that driving over to a friend’s house this evening.

Thankfully the six min journey was uneventful. I delivered a gift of a bunch of Lavendin from the lavender farm. It has an uplifting scent and is ideal for hanging in the kitchen.

My hope of some fresh eggs was squished, hens are brooding and not laying! We had a good natter then I drove home and watched a couple of episodes of 1883.

I felt fidgety and couldn’t relax. Pretty sure it’s the lack of swimming. I hate missing it.
