Blame it on the Weatherman

The forecast for today was horrendous, so we had kind of written today off in our minds. The weather when we got up was a little drizzly, but not too bad, however such was our faith in the BBC and MetOffice we decided to stay off the hills. We visited the Beinn Eighe Visitor Centre and went for a walk around the protected forests of Scots Pines, where I took this picture of the one of the many burns rushing down from the mountain tops above. Had lunch at the fabulous Whistle Stop Cafe in Kinlochewe before ending back to Torridon, by which time the sun was starting to come out. One thing should have learnt by now is never trust a Scottish weather forecast is never trust a Scottish weather forecast. Ended up just going for a walk along the banks of the loch for in the sun and visiting the a nearby deer park
