Purple!

Vivid colour on a buddleia plant, on the way to football. Technically an 'invasive species or noxious weed' (according to wikipedia) it illustrates the difficulty in defining a 'weed' as many people, myself included like to see the flowers, which are very popular with butterflies and other insects.
Football was a counterpoint to last week, with the other team winning easily this time. I think it was because we had too many of the slower-paced players (in which I include myself these days) making for unequal sides from the start. Sadly too many of the other team had been on the receiving end of last week's drubbing, when they failed to take their chances in a much more even game territorially, and so had no interest in evening things up when the disparity became obvious. Didn't score again but a couple of good assists with decisive final passes in to the striker.
