Visited Stratford today, a pleasant half hour drive south from New Plymouth. It is of course named after Stratford-upon-Avon. The extra is the clocktower which is also New Zealands only working glockenspiel. In the foreground is the roof of the Percy Thompson gallery which echos the shape of the mountain with its secondary peak, as seen from here. Couldn't stay long just a few pic's then back home.
