Hoverflies ( Syrphus ribesii )
The Teasels were alive with Hoverflies, not to mention Bumble bees. The teasels seem to be all things to all wildlife, great for pollinators when in flower and providing lots of seeds for birds later. They do have a drawback, they seed all over the place. Fortunately being biennial you have a chance to remove a generation before they seed.
The blip has a couple of male S ribesii. The one blurred because of movement is, I think, a Marmalade Hoverfly ( Episyrphus balteatus ). The sex of Hoverflies is easy to establish, in males the eyes meet in the middle, in females they don't.
