Up in the clouds

We met Lucy in Holmfirth early this afternoon, and went straight across to Beatties for tea and cake. At least I had that (bearing in mind that we had a table booked for an early dinner at the Boshaw Trout), while MrM and Lucy shared quite a substantial sharing platter. After that a wander around Holmfirth before walking home to show her our (relatively) new abode.

Late-afternoon MrM drove us up to the pub where we enjoyed a very nice Sunday dinner. We had intended to go for a walk afterwards, but decided against it - by the time we had finished eating horizontal heavy rain had set in! Instead, a short drive around the area and back via Holme Moss, where the mast was in the cloud.

A film in the evening with a drink or two. Very good to see Lucy and to hear about her time in France.
