Almost autumn

Despite the heat there’s a pre-autumn feel to nature right now. Blackberries ripening and the butterflies in an unexpected abundance - as this is Oxfordshire, I’m not sure if this is a gatekeeper or a meadow brown but I’m assuming the latter? There were loads of them on fab a walk around Beckley and Noke this afternoon
