Flower of Scotland

Quite an eventful day today. I was volunteering in the morning and then I’d arranged to go into Edinburgh to meet my friends Marianne and Anne. It’s Marianne’s birthday and Anne and I were treating her to lunch. It took me quite a while to get in as I had to abandon the bus and do park and ride instead. I’m glad I finally made it as we had a very good lunch at Chez Jules in Hanover Street, followed by a nice walk around Princes Street Gardens.
