Corfu Town

…. Last Thursday (a week of backblips will be occurring over the coming days).

After our breakfast Mr C and I walked along the beach up to the next village.  A rather hot walk and we did stop for some refreshments and a rest.  Once back at our apartment, we stayed around the pool as we were heading back out in the afternoon.

Our hosts booked us on an evening boat trip to Corfu Town.  We were collected from the end of the road by coach at 4pm and taken to Kassiopi to board the boat.  Over an hours sail and enjoying the scenery ~ rich people’s huge boats with a helicopter on board, sailing through a mile stretch between Corfu and Albania and all the little hidden bays along the coast.

Once we had docked Mr C and I headed to a restaurant that our hosts had recommended to us and it didn’t disappoint.  We then had a couple of hours to walk around the Old Town and enjoy the sights before heading back to our boat for the return journey. Arriving back to our apartment around 11pm.
