My daughter was excited to learn that she was going to be an aunt, and she went into a wool shop in Nairn and explained that she wanted to make something really special for her new niece or nephew. The lady sold her a pattern and lovely cashmerino wool and offered help if she got stuck. It has taken her 8 months to complete. She used u tube to show how to do fairisle.
