sunday - they take off - til mid october,  fishing for sablefish, called black cod but they are different species.  in Alaskan waters.

(the rest of the mileage to home was 5 hours, 1500 total in 4 days 5 hours.  will never say again that i can not do long drives.  BUT am locking up the car and on bike for most everything - the planet needs all of us to do stuff like that as we are seeing feeling this summer - if no one  noticed before.)
