Lunch date

We met dear friends P &P for lunch at The Palm House, the refurbished restaurant at The Packhouse in Farnham. The Packhouse is a wonderful emporium of little rooms, beautifully laid out, with colourful artificial flowers everywhere. It would be so tempting if we were of an age when we were creating a home.. But there was no time to wander, we wanted to be with P & P. They were just passing through the area while on holiday, and made this arrangement to meet up with us. We have been friends for more than fifty years so conversation is relaxed and easy, with lots of memories. All too soon we had to say goodbye as they went on their way. When will we see them again?
