My tour this my included me confusing LadyFindhorn by appearing with a coach at a well known Stromness coffee spot. She didn’t recognise me at first, thinking I was just waving at my guests who were picking up coffee behind her.

After I’d finished my tour I visited the Ness of Brodgar dig. So much to look at and try to understand. The shear size of the buildings and that there is only a fraction of the archaeology uncovered is incredible. I can’t quite get my head around that this place was being used for ‘something’ for over 1000 years.
