Allotment Progress Report

A beautiful day today, with some passing cloud, spent on the allotment. Ann has strimmed and I have clipped the most amazing crop of buttercups and I've also weeded the beans, peas, onions and cabbage. Our peas and beans have beautiful frilly edges, courtesy of a weevil but they seem to be growing - well the beans are doing better than the peas. Having put so much work into the site we need to keep on top now. A welcome shower on our return and a chance to sit out in the garden for an hour.
