Seashell and unicorn

This little dish sits on the shelf in our downstairs cloakroom, and it’s where I put all the little hair accessories which I find lying around the house after my granddaughters have been to visit. The dish won’t be needed for a while now, though, because the family have just arrived in Devon for their summer holiday, and neither will the child’s toilet seat or the grow-tall step by the handbasin. It’s going to seem very quiet here for the next two weeks.

I expect seashells will feature quite a bit in their holiday, but I’m slightly less confident about unicorns …
