Cucullia lactucae

which will be a grey nighttime moth. What a beauty!

We are back at home. It seems my parents enjoyed their dogsitting time here. We'll see them next on Monday at my uncle's summer place where the majority of my dad's siblings will gather withe their families. My cousin and his family are here from New Zealand. It will be the last time for a while as the girls start their school next year and as the seasons are upside between us, coming with family for a longer period could only work during winter, and who wants to spend their summer vacation in Finland during winter. Nearly no one.

We've been traveling majority of the day. Then one load of laundry and just putting stuff away and settling in. And of course lots of quality time with Buddha. It rained lightly this evening, but not enough. I watered the garden when I got home and found one tomato that had started to turn red.

It might be my blip birthday... I'm not quite sure. I'll see soon. Wish I had had more festive picture, but there simply hasn't been enough time for any thought on that. So it's this lettuce eating Cucullia lactucae and we'll go with that.
