River Kiurujoki

Visited Spa Hotel Runni just for swimming. We walked around a bit. It’s quite beautiful area.

Tomorrow we’ll head home and release the dog sitters. Great to head home. My back is aching from the bed here. Otherwise it’s been a good visit.

Runni name originates from Swedish word Brunn which means well. There’s a famous well that has lots of iron in the water. People used to travel here for the water. They drunk it for few weeks and they got better (if the iron had anything to do with it). I always taste the water and it never tastes good. It also has the rusty color.
