Well, on my desk, anyway, in the Geography Department office.

Today I taught a lesson on scale and measuring distance on a map. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't convince any of the students that their little bits of string were highly technical, state-of-the-art geographical devices. Still, the string worked, so that's all that matters!

I'm starting the new topic of 'Weather' with my Year 7s next Monday so I shall enjoy the luxury of a week to prepare! Already feeling very grateful for Rihanna's umbrella song...
