Happy Birthday!

Younger son’s Birthday today! We went out with his partner for a meal to an Italian restaurant at a nearby town, and had coffee and Birthday cake at home. My wife made the lovely coffee cake. We’d a very fine evening. We learned a bit about the itinerary of their forthcoming holiday (early August). The weather in the Mediterranean will hopefully be a bit cooler than the last fortnight. We discussed a rugby camp he’s been involved with, and golf. They dropped off some of his coffee cake at his older brother’s home… long days and short nights for the new parents - cake is permitted. We took their dog for walk this morning; and we’d a quick cup of tea with them when we returned with the dog - everyone is well. The midwife had been in again. Great service and support.
