Birthday boy.

And (unusually) me. My wife and I met our younger son for a Birthday lunch. He came after a few days golf with old Uni friends in Elie near St. Andrews. The venue was where our older son had his wedding reception last year; we’ve been recently for their first anniversary - it’s consistently good. Extra photos; the three of us, and from the walk we did after lunch. And during a WhatsApp call from older son and daughter-in-law in outer Hebrides. Oh, and of the cake made by  his mother.

Our Hebrides family were in the sea at Eriskay, not far from sight of grounding of SS Poltician which grounded in 1941; 260,000 bottles of whisky on board….
