Along the path

It was an early start today as I dropped my husband at the eye clinic for his cataract operation.  I stopped off at Woodbury Common for a few photos just as the rain was beginning to start.  It was a fairly gloomy day but the light at the end of the pathway looked attractive.   It continued raining for almost the rest of the day.  Once home I had breakfast and a coffee and then it was time to head off again and pick my husband up.

He is recovering well but has a list of various things he cannot do for sometime.  I spent the rest of the day doing a lot of batch cooking for my daughter along with the usual baking.  It's been a busy day.
