Pebble creations

It’s been a dry and fairly sunny day. We managed to all get down to the local beach for a short time before lunch. Both grandchildren were very happy to play with the lovely pebbles on the beach at Budleigh Salterton. This image shows our oldest grandson surveying his art work. He had created a castle, a ladybird with six twig legs and a bear. He isn’t really into the sea but enjoys playing on the beaches.

After lunch they slowly started the process of packing up the car while their youngest child had a nap. Once he woke and was fed they set off for Torquay where they are spending a few more days.

It has been lovely having them stay and is certainly much quieter at home.
