Art exhibition

We went over to Linlithgow this afternoon to see two artist friends, Jacqueline Marr and Lesley Anne Derks, exhibition in the Line gallery.
 
 
 Jacqueline (above) features a number of her delicate feather paintings, which I love.  (Many years ago I bought one.)
 
In 2020 Jacqueline took part in Sky Arts television programme Portrait Artist of the Year.
 
Lesley Anne Derks has established an international reputation for her paintings of cities by night.
 
Both young gifted artists reflect the rigorous training once Scottish art colleges were famous for, sadly missing in recent years.
