Rainbow

A smashing catch up with an old Aussie friend & her family last night.

We met in 2000 in Kununarra in the Northern Territory in Aus when I was cycle touring & she touring in her jeep with her son age 6.

We put my bike on her Jeep roofrack and drove the unsealed Gibb River Road, with side visits up to the Mitchell Plateau & right to the north coast at Cape Talbot.

Such an amazing opportunity for me as I wouldn’t have dare attempted the Kimberlies by bike & so great to have their company.

23 years later & it was a joy to see her & to meet her husband & second son.

The universe treated us with this rainbow last night on a walk.
