Heading home

We made it to the airport, dropped off a relatively clean car only slightly later than agreed, checked in all 8 bags, haven’t lost any children, and it is finally time to breathe a sigh of relief. We had a leisurely breakfast and savoured the last morning of an old English hotel in the countryside. We repacked and did our best to squeeze in Hampton court before heading to the airport. It was a tad rushed but it was great that we could see it briefly. Our flight was due to leave at 9:30pm, but we spent quite a while waiting as it was delayed at least an hour. However, most people managed their blips in the time waiting!
