Tadpoles

Got up early and walked to work along the canal in the morning sunshine then negotiated my way through the west end of Edinburgh and found some nice quiet back streets to cut across to the New Town. Took me an hour walking quite fast so am going to try it by bike later this week. Nice to get a good bit of exercise in before work.

Spotted these tadpoles basking in the warm sun lit water of the canal. The first I have seen this year. They will have to get 'bicycle savvy' if they are to avoid an untimely end on the canal path - it's like a motorway for bikes!
